Berna is 29 years old and lives in Heilbronn. For as long as she can remember, her dream has been to do something with advertising. After graduating as a graphic designer in 2011, she studied communication design at the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences, specialising in Brand Design and User Experience Design. She graduated in January 2021 and subsequently started working as a marketing employee at ICSenergie in Heilbronn. In her free time, Berna spends most of her time in the kitchen. Cooking and baking are her great passions. She likes to develop new dishes and recipes. Besides being creative in the kitchen, Berna finds her inner peace by meditating and practising yoga.

Why did you choose Connecthing?
I am happy to have completed my degree as a communication designer. The know-how I acquired during my several years of education can be perfectly implemented at ICSenergie. The workplace environment often has the biggest impact on how motivated you are at work. The work we do is sometimes very stressful, but every meeting is always dotted with a personal connection, laughter, and a bit of fun. We spend most of our time in the office, so we should enjoy it.

How are you going to make a difference?
I‘m a strong believer of the fact that if you do what you love and enjoy doing, you will be successful in your career. Learning is what I love most about my job. This isn‘t just about the technology, although I love that too, for me it’s also about finding ways to be more effective.
